First of all I want to say a huge thank you to Sun Labs for sending me a bottle of their Ultra Dark Self Tanner for me to try out! I just want to start this review off by saying I am really enjoying this tanner! I had never self tanned before I was sent this tanner so I didn't really know how any of it worked, how to apply it, or how it was going to look. I would definitely recommend using a flat top foundation brush or a self tanning mit because I find that it blends way easier than applying it with just rubber gloves. I found that with the rubber gloves it was taking quite a bit of time to blend out streaks because of the ridges in between my fingers. With this self tanner you see results immediately and then it darkens and fully develops in about 3-4 hours. I am really fair and so I was worried that the Ultra Dark would end up looking very orange and dark but that is not the case at all! It looks very natural and it gives you such a beautiful bronze glow. Sun Labs has a variety of different self tanners including lotions, sprays, and also foams. They also have products to help care for your tan! I would definitely recommend this tanner tanner for anyone looking for an easy to apply, inexpensive, and safe way to get a tan! Tips for Applying:I use a flat top foundation brush and I pump about 2 pumps per arm/leg and I buff it in a circular motion until it is completely blended. For my chest and neck area I use about 3 pumps. It is buildable if you want it to be a bit darker also! With this lotion you do not have to wash it off after a couple of hours...you just put it on and you're done!

Makeup Slayve is a cruelty-free indie brand that sells eyeshadows, highlighters, and blushes. Their products are very high quality and super inexpensive! They have 2 different sizes of highlighters, 44mm pans and 57mm pans and they retail from $10.00-$14.00, Their eyeshadows retail for $4.00 and they are 26mm pans, & their blushes retail for $8.00 and they come in 36mm pans. First, I'll talk about the highlighters. They sent me a couple of them to try out and I am absolutely IN LOVE with the highlighters! They are super buttery and pigmented and they give you such a beautiful blinding highlight...they blend out very well on the skin also and aren't patchy. They also do not have any glitter whatsoever so they aren't chunky and don't look like you just have glitter on your cheeks. They have just the right amount of shimmer! They also sent me some of their shadows to try and they are very high quality as well. When I tried their shadows on my eyes, I did notice that there was quite a bit of fall out. I also had to go over my lid shade a few times to build the color up to full opacity because they were just a little patchy (nothing terrible, it just took a while to build.) Other than that, I really like their shadows as well. They are very easy to blend and didn't crease throughout the day! I absolutely love Makeup Slayve's products and recommend them if you're looking for amazing highlighters/shadows that are very inexpensive! I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Makeup Slayve for sending me some of their products to try out and review! I used Makup Slayve "Dusty Rose" for my highlight in this look.Jules Cosmetics is a vegan/cruelty-free brand that sells Ultra Hydrating Lip Creams. They are very pigmented and moisturizing. Jules Cosmetics sells 20 different shades of these lippies ranging from a grey-nude to a mint green. These lip creams apply very smoothly and they have a glossy finish which means they are not kiss/smudge proof at all but they do have really good staying power. They are definitely pigmented and I usually use about a pea size amount for my lips and it gives me full coverage! Their lip creams retail for $10 each and you get 0.106 ounce which is equivalent to a lipstick.
I want to say thank you so so much to Jules Cosmetics for sending me her line of lippies to try out. I absolutely love them! T-R-L "Seafoam", "Rebel Heart", & "Snow Queen"First of all I just want to say a huge thank you to Storm Cosmetics for sending me these beautiful glitters to try out!
Storm Cosmetics is a cruelty-free indie brand that sells pressed glitters and pigments. They come in a little pan like MUG shadows so you can just pop them into a magnetic palette. These pressed glitters retail for $8 each and a little of these goes a long way so it will definitely last you a long time. I had never tried pressed glitter until I received these and I am absolutely IN LOVE with them! You only need to dip your finger in them once to get full coverage on one eye. Another thing I like about these is I don't even need a glitter glue...I just pick it up with my finger and pat it on my eyes. I do not notice any fall out with these either which is amazing! I definitely prefer these over loose glitter because you don't need a primer, they aren't patchy like loose glitter can be, and they stay on literally ALL DAY and they don't crease! Chunky glitter is definitely not for everyone but if you're looking for a super high quality pressed glitter, you should definitely check out Storm Cosmetics! You won't be disappointed. First of all I want to say a HUGE thank you to CelleClé Skincare for sending me some of their products to try out!
I have been using their skincare for a while now and I am absolutely loving it! Before I get into the actual review, I'll tell you a little bit about my skin: I have normal/dry skin so I need quite a bit of moisture to keep my skin from peeling and flaking. I also have pretty large pores and I have some texture under my eyes and on the tops of my cheeks as well and I am definitely prone to getting blackheads on my nose, chin, and lip area. CelleClé sent me part of their Poreless Purity & Clarity collection and I absolutely love everything. I used it the first night I got it and I woke up the next morning and could already tell a difference in the size of my pores and I could also tell that the texture had been smoothed a little bit as well. First I use the DetoxySmooth multi-action mild foaming gel cleanser to remove my makeup, and then if my pores are looking big I use their Phyto-Silt Extreme black mud masque. This helps reduce the size of your pores and just makes your skin look flawless. I leave this on for about 15 minutes and wash it off with warm water. Then I use the LustreRefine Ultra texture perfecting treatment moisturizer. I have used a ton of moisturizers that I will put on at night and will wake up and my skin will already be back to being super dry and flaky and this moisturizer does not do that! It definitely keeps your skin very hydrated and it also helps smooth your skin as well. Lastly, I use the MicroSmooth AHA multi-acid resurfacing serum just for a little added moisture. I also have VERY sensitive skin and can't use some skincare because a lot of brands have fragrance in their skincare but this does not have a fragrance. I absolutely love all of these products from CelleClé and would definitely recommend their skincare! I put a link to their website and their Instagram above if you're interested in checking them out! From L to R: RoRo, Malrah, MerlinFirst of all I just want to say a HUGE thank you to Daval Beauty for sending me these gorgeous lippies and for making me one of their lip models.
Daval Beauty is a Cruelty-Free (but not vegan) company that sells liquid lipsticks as well as traditional bullet lipsticks. They are handmade in Nova Soctia and ship from Halifax Canada. Their lipsticks are Talc Free, Paraben Free, Cruelty Free, & Vegetarian but not Vegan because they do contain beeswax. I believe these retail between $10-$13 depending on which item you purchase. Daval Beauty's liquid lipsticks have become some of my all time favorites! They are very pigmented and smooth. And the doe foot applicator on these really makes it easy to apply them and shape your lips. They dry down to a completely matte finish but they are not a drying matte at all...I find them to be very hydrating actually! I feel like some dry down to a transfer proof (definitely not smudge proof) finish and some don't. I had the shade RoRo on today and it was transfer proof but the shade Malrah definitely transfers a little more so I think it just depends on the shade. These liquid lipsticks are long wearing as well! I ate Subway with them on and they didn't really budge. I noticed a little fading in the inner corner of my lip but nothing crazy at all! Another thing I love about Daval is they always send personalized notes in their packages. I just absolutely love it when companies send you notes in the package because it feels like they actually care about their customers. I am seriously obsessed with Daval Beauty's liquid lipsticks and I recommend these to EVERYONE looking for high quality liquid lippies that are inexpensive! The left is the shade "Unicorn Holographic" and the right is the shade "Unicorn Magik" The top is all of the shades from Unicorn Holographic swirled together and the bottom is Unicorn MagikHere is each individual shade from Unicorn HolographicLubov Cosmetics is a cruelty-free indie brand on Etsy. Right now I believe all they have is highlighters. I am seriously in love with Lubov Cosmetics. Their highlighters have become some of my all time favorites. They are so smooth and buttery and they are so freaking pigmented! I've been using Unicorn Holographic a lot lately and it gives me such an amazing highlight. These definitely are not for a subtle glow...they're not messing around. These are really going to give you that blinding highlight that you can see from outer space (I love me a blinding highlight lol)
First up is "Unicorn Holographic". This shade has a mix of different colors...there is a white, a baby blue, a pink, and a yellow gold shade. You can use the shades individually or you can swirl them together for a gorgeous Holographic shade. (It looks very green in the swatch but it isn't in real life) I tend to use the white alone, or the white and the pink mixed. Anyway you wear it this is just such an amazing product and I think a lot of people would be able to wear this! Next is the shade "Unicorn Magik" I unfortunately cannot use this as a highlight because it is too dark for my skin tone so I can't tell you how it is as a highlight but I do use this as an eyeshadow and it is gorgeous! I'm not kidding when I say these are like metallic. That sounds very scary for a highlight but I promise it looks amazing on the skin! I am kind of a ghostly pale person so finding a purple highlight that doesn't look ashy on me is pretty hard but I do love using this on my eyes for a purple eye or even as a pop of color in my inner corner! I definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a blinding highlight or if you're just looking for a metallic eyeshadow! They are very versatile and I've even used them on my lips. I just cannot tell you how much I love them!! Once again, thank you so much to Channah from Lubov Cosmetics for sending me these gorgeous highlights! *I did use other things to make this shade metallic but I used their Satin Lip in MysticThis is their liquid matte lip in the shade BerryvilleFirst off I just want to say a huge thank you to Nine Three Beauty for sending me these beautiful liquid lipsticks (they also sent me their satin lip in Kyndall but I don't have a swatch of that one yet)
The first one I'll talk about is the liquid matte in the shade Berryville This shade is a very beautiful Berry color. It almost reminds me of kind of a Kylie Jenner color with a little more of a berry kind of pink tone. This does take a bit to dry down completely but it does dry down to a transfer proof (not smudge proof) matte finish. It is very opaque and you only need one swipe to get full coverage. I didn't really think this liquid lip was drying either...I find it to be pretty hydrating and it didn't crack or crumble off which is always nice. Potato chips definitely destroyed it and it was all over my face but chips destroy any lipstick because of the oils. Anything oily will pretty much destroy any lipstick. Overall I think this is a great formula and I absolutely love this shade as well! The next shade I will talk about is Mystic. Mystic is a very dark, metallic, blackened navy blue. I absolutely love this shade and it looks amazing in the tube but I find this one to be very patchy because of how dark it is. You definitely have to put on 2-3 layers for you to get full coverage but once you build it up, it is gorgeous! It is certainly not for the faint of heart but, if you're bold like me, you will love this shade. I do feel like this is more of a glossy finish than a satin and it will wear off after you eat and is not transfer proof (satin liquid lips usually aren't transfer proof) Their Satin lips are definitely not drying at all and again, are very hydrating! Both of these formulas are great and I will definitely be purchasing some more of Nine Three Beauty's products! For this eye look I used Notyce Pigment in EGO on my lidI recently purchased some of Notyce Beauty's pigments (they were kind enough to reach out to me and give me a coupon code to try their products) and I am seriously in love with them. They are super pigmented and they are very easy to work with! A lot of pigments I have worked with are not easy to work with because of fall out and they aren't pigmented enough so you have to really pack it on etc. But with these I really don't notice a lot of fall out. Obviously most loose pigments that you use are going to have a little fall out and these did have a touch but again it's normal with loose shadows. One thing I have noticed with these is they tend to crease in the lines on my eyes just a little bit and I am priming and setting the primer and they are still creasing. It isn't terrible but it is definitely settling into the lines in my eyes. I definitely recommend foiling the jewel tone pigments and packing them on top of a black base just to get as much color pay off as you possibly can. They are very pigmented on their own but they are even better when you foil them with a setting spray. These are definitely some of my new favorite pigments and I will definitely be repurchasing from Notyce Beauty.
Their pigments retail for $8.99 on their Etsy shop which I will leave the link to their shop in this post and they come in 5 gram jars. I definitely love these pigments and you get a ton of product for the price especially because a little goes a VERY long way with these! I found this lip kit at Walgreens the other day from Tattoo Junkee Cosmetics. I had been following them on Instagram for a while but didn't know they sold their lip kits in drugstores. I got the shade Rebel and it is a gorgeous deep red liquid lip and each one also comes with a pigment to put on top to give you a really cool metallic lip. These retail from $6.88 to $6.99 depending on where you get them (their website or at a drugstore.) this is honestly my new favorite liquid lip formula. They are very comfortable to wear and they are probably the most long lasting liquid lip I have ever tried! They are also super easy to apply...they aren't patchy or anything they glide on very smoothly. I had this on for 5 hours the other day and it had just slightly started to fade on the inner part of my lip but other than that, it was still in tact even after eating. The only complaint I have with these is the smell and taste. They definitely smell and taste chemically which is one downfall to it but other than that these are seriously amazing and I definitely recommend these to anyone that is looking for a long lasting formula that isn't drying, and it is also very affordable!
